Zoila Alvarenga

Zoila Alvarenga was a remarkable woman, who lived a very long and fulfilling life. She was a woman of many talents and qualities, anyone who knew her would agree. Her life revolved around family, and she was very proud of the life her and her husband built. She had 7 children, Ana Daisy Viuda de Moreno, Cristina Salamanca, Miguel Salamanca, Carmen Salamanca, Salvador Salamanca, Silvia Alvarenga, and Silas G. Alvarenga. She was born on July 29th, 1934 in El Salvador, and passed away on February 15th, 2024, in Sacramento. She’s survived by 6 of 7 children, 15 grandchildren (Daisy, Maria, Mariano, Giovanna, Reckson, Kayla, Sarah, Wally, Ricky, Isai, Josue, Andrea, Ana, Santiago, and Romario) and 11 great-grandchildren. She was married to Silas Alvarenga on October 1, 1979. They arrived in Yonkers, New York in April 1981 and began living their life together with 2 of their children, Silas G. and Silvia. While in New York she became a member of Filipos church and served there until they moved to Los Angeles. There she became a member of Iglesia Evangelica Latina. In 1992 they moved to Sonoma, CA where she became a member of Iglesia Josue. She was always active within the women's ministries and prayer groups. She loved to sing and visit the sick to pray for them. Zoila had many different talents; she knew how to cook, how to help people, and how to run a business. She loved fashion. You could see her in red lipstick, wearing a hat, and jewelry to match her outfit. She loved the color red. She was a perfectionist, and she taught us all how to be strong and never back down from anyone. We will miss her advice, stories, and laughter. Now she is reunited with her husband and son. She was a woman of Prayer. Her Children knew they were always kept under her prayers. WE WILL DEEPLY MISS HER.

Zoila Alvarenga fue una mujer extraordinaria, que vivió una vida muy larga y plena. Era una mujer de muchos talentos y cualidades, cualquiera que la conociera estaría de acuerdo. Su vida giraba en torno a la familia y estaba muy orgullosa de la vida que ella y su marido construyeron. Tuvo 7 hijos, Ana Daisy Viuda de Moreno, Cristina Salamanca, Miguel Salamanca, Carmen Salamanca, Salvador Salamanca, Silvia Alvarenga y Silas G. Alvarenga. Nació el 29 de julio de 1934 en El Salvador y falleció el 15 de febrero de 2024 en Sacramento. Le sobreviven 6 de 7 hijos, 15 nietos (Daisy, Maria, Mariano, Giovanna, Reckson, Kayla, Sarah, Wally, Ricky, Isai, Josue, Andrea, Ana, Santiago y Romario) y 11 bisnietos. Se casó con Silas Alvarenga el 1 de octubre de 1979. Llegaron a Yonkers, Nueva York en abril de 1981 y comenzaron a vivir su vida junto con 2 de sus hijos, Silas G. y Silvia. Mientras estuvo en Nueva York, se convirtió en miembro de la iglesia Filipos y sirvió allí hasta que se mudaron a Los Ángeles. Allí se convirtió en miembro de la Iglesia Evangélica Latina. En 1992 se mudaron a Sonoma, CA, donde se convirtió en miembro de la Iglesia Josué. Ella siempre estuvo activa dentro de los ministerios de mujeres y grupos de oración. Le encantaba cantar y visitar a los enfermos para orar por ellos. Zoila tenía muchos talentos diferentes; sabía cocinar, ayudar a la gente y dirigir un negocio. Amaba la moda. Se la podía ver con lápiz labial rojo, sombrero y joyas a juego con su atuendo. Le encantaba el color rojo. Ella era una perfeccionista y nos enseñó a todos cómo ser fuertes y nunca retroceder ante nadie. Extrañaremos sus consejos, historias y risas. Ahora se reencuentra con su espos y su hijo. Era una mujer de Oración. Sus hijos sabían que siempre estarían bajo sus oraciones. LA EXTRAÑAREMOS PROFUNDAMENTE.
