Walter E Gallawa

Walter E. Gallawa passed away on June 19, 2022, peacefully surrounded by his family at age 88. Walt was born in 1935 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to John and Mary Gallawa. Walt is survived by Francine, his beloved wife of 62 years. He is also survived by his children, Scott Gallawa, Gailane Stein, Tobin Gallawa and Geoffrey Gallawa. Walt was preceded in death by his 11 siblings. Devoted grandfather to Brandon Gallawa, Christina Kellner, Stephanie Stein, Fletcher Gallawa and Nathan Stein. Devoted great-grandfather to Makyah Wulfert, Grace and Ana Gallawa, Zoe Kellner and Ben Kellner. 

Walt graduated from Nebraska University Law School in 1962. He practiced law in Sacramento for 53 years. His most interesting case was the Roseville bomb explosion in 1973. Walt was definitely a family man and very supportive of all his direct and extended family. He played football throughout college and loved all sports,
even soccer. He enjoyed travel and golf always but especially with his wife Francine, his favorite person of all.
