Subrina Kaye Johnson

Subrina Kaye Johnson was born February 18, 1961 in Amaraillo, Texas to Charlie Mae and Walter B. Johnson.  She came into the world fighting as she needed extra support for her legs, as a toddler but that didn’t stop her.  Subrina and her family later moved to Sacramento, California where they found their forever home, where she attended Sierra View and met her longtime best friend, Darlene Hollins.  She attended Highlands High School, and later attended night school at Campus Verde, and Federico beauty institute during the day to start A career for herself.  Later on having her first and only child,  Japoria Goodspeed whom she worked hard to provide for, between building computers for the old Packard Bell to shift manager for Jack in the Box, among many other Jobs.  Subrina was the life of the party and our family.  She would do anything she could for anybody.  She never became a grandmother, but the love she showed her nieces and nephews alone was enough.  She is survived by her daughter Japoria Goodspeed, her sister Yolanda G. Burse and brother-in- law Dwayne Burse Sr., her brother Patrick F. Johnson Sr., sister- in-law Wendy Johnson, and step-sister Tammie Norse, and step brother-in-law Calvin Norse.  Along with her nieces and nephews, Sequoia Burse, Dwayne Burse Jr., Keevonne McManus, Patrick Johnson Jr., Alexis Johnson, Alyssa Regalado, Da’Mario Burse, Keeonne Bobo, Kaliah McManus, Bre’lyn Prince, Kyleigh McManus, Kenzie Burse, Grayson Burse and Jaleesa Haggins. Subrina will be dearly missed and forever loved.
