Patricia Ann McFall

Patricia Ann McFall passed away on Jan 30, 2025, after 98 wonderful years. Pat was born on Jan 9, 1927 to William and Etta Lyons in Fresno, CA. She graduated from Fresno HS and was a swimmer for Fresno State until her father died her freshman year. She then moved to Sacramento and got her AA degree at Sacramento City College. In 1947, Pat married James (Jim) McFall, their union lasting 68 years until he died in 2015.

Pat was a devoted Mom and Grandma, with her life centered around family, cheering on sons Scott and Bob at countless baseball practices and games. When both sons went to USC, Pat began working with Sacramento USD. She and Jim golfed, traveled, recruited students for USC, attended Trojan games and were very active at Fremont Presbyterian Church and its Mariners group. Pat never slowed down, taking computer classes in her 70s and going to exercise classes and Silver Sneaker events in her 80s. She loved visits up until she passed away in her home that she and Jim shared since 1959.

Pat was preceded in death by Jim and her sister Evelyn. She leaves behind sons Scott (Cynthia) and Robert (Connie), grandchildren Brian, Amanda, Russell, Hilary and Alex, grandchildren Liam, Marlee, Brigham and Finnick, and an extended family. Her burial service is Sat. March 22 at 11 a.m., East Lawn Mem. Park, 4300 Folsom Bl., Sacramento, immediately followed by a memorial service and reception at 12:30 p.m. at Fremont Pres., 5770 Carlson Dr., Sacramento.
