Michael Francis Berrigan

Michael Francis Berrigan, a native of Ireland passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on June 10^th, 2021.

He was preceded by his parents Thomas and Molly Berrigan and his first wife Lucille. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 happy years Una, one brother and one sister and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a graduate of Sacramento State University and a graduate student of University of the Pacific in Stockton.  He retired after 36 years with the Sacramento City Unified School District as Administrator of State and Federal programs.  He also served in the US Army.

His hobbies were fishing and travel and he spent much time in Dillon Beach and Killorglin, Ireland. He also enjoyed being surrounded by his friends of which there are many.

The Funeral Mass will be at St. Anthony’s Catholic Parish at 660 Florin Road in Sacramento on June 22^nd at 1 pm.  There will be a Rosary/Vigil at noon before the mass.  A reception will follow immediately following the Mass.

Mike will be missed by many who enjoyed his friendship, sense of humor and generosity.
