Marilyn Joan Matre

In memory of Marilyn Joan Matre (1930-2023)

Marilyn passed peacefully under hospice care in Citrus Heights, California in June 2023. She was two months away from her 93rd birthday.

The youngest child of Victor and Emily Matre, she was raised with her two loving brothers, Vic and Larry, in Burlingame California. Marilyn attended Burlingame High School and was a devoted member of St. Catherine’s Catholic Church.

Marilyn was predeceased by her parents, her two brothers, her sisters-in-law, and a nephew. She will be missed by her remaining nephew and nieces and other relatives and friends. Marilyn will be laid to rest next to her parents at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.

Her family is grateful to those who provided for her kind and compassionate care in recent years.
