Margie Jean Geremia passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 66 in Sacramento, CA. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Terrance and Joan O’Brien. Margie was born to Terry and Joan in Sacramento on December 27, 1955, and was raised in Sacramento, CA. She married the love of her life, Robert, who grew up near her in River Park. They moved to Carmichael to raise their family in 1987. Margie worked for many years as a Secretary in the San Juan Unified School District until her retirement in 2020. Margie enjoyed her family deeply, and was a dedicated ambassador of all of her family’s accomplishments, milestones, events, and ventures. Margie was very proud of her Irish heritage and enjoyed playing the piano and playing cards, particularly bridge. Margie is survived by her husband, Robert Geremia, sister, Mariellen Burger, sons, Jeff Geremia (Jessica) and Brian Geremia (Megan); and grandchildren, Maggie, Jack, Andrew and Catherine Geremia. She also leaves behind many beloved cousins, brother and sisters-in-law and her many nieces and nephews who played a pivotal role in her life.

Margie’s funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 1040 - 39th St.; burial immediately following at East Lawn Cemetery. Remembrances in her name may be made to Jesuit High School: https://www.jesuithighschool.org/memoriam-giving
