Larry James Taylor

Some of the laughter has left the world. On June 27th, Larry Taylor was called to heaven. Larry was a retired Army pilot who ran several successful businesses throughout his life. He enjoyed people and making them smile. We will all miss his funny quips and his teasing ways. Always good with his hands, Larry liked restoring antique cars and enjoyed many touring trips with both the Auburn and Sacramento Model T clubs. He also enjoyed traveling and saw much of the world. He is survived by his two daughters, Lauren Brown and Leanna Taylor, his two granddaughters, Talena Handley and Hannah Taylor, and his longtime companion, Donna Christin. Larry was predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Elise Taylor, and his grandson, Kyle Handley. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Cathedral, 2620 Capitol Ave, in Sacramento on July 18th at 10 am with a reception following.
