Katherine Mary Smith

Katherine (Kay) Smith passed peacefully on Sunday, May 8th surrounded by her family. She is survived by her children: Glen Smith, Sharon Fournier, Kim Anderson, Pat Smith, 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald, son Tom Smith and daughter-in-law Janet Smith. Katherine worked along side her husband for over fifty years in their construction business Don G. Smith & Sons. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Vigil service will be at W.F. Gormley & Sons Funeral Home on Monday, May 16th from 6:00 to 8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Elk Grove on Tuesday, May 17th at 10am. A celebration of life reception will follow the Mass. She will be laid to rest privately at St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Loaves and Fishes.
