Joseph William Von Rotz

Bill passed away peacefully at home on April 16, 2021. He was born in Sacramento, December 19, 1922 to Joseph and Edwina Von Rotz. Bill is survived by his daughter Linda,  and preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Margaret (Jurach). 

Bill loved his family enjoying trips to Disneyland and Santa Barbara and was actively involved with Linda’s passion of their Arabian horses.

Bill served in the army during World War II returning to work at McClellan Air Force Base.

Later he was selected by the Federal Civil Service Commission to develop a Sacramento office responsible for all hiring in northern and central California/Nevada.

Always showing positivity and a beautiful  smile, Bill enjoyed following the news and discussions with friends.  He was loved and admired by everyone he met.

Greatly missed by his only child, Linda.
