Jenny Ida Lucero

Jenny Ida Lucero passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 18, 2023. She was
predeceased by her husband Peter Lucero, as well as her children Vincent Lucero, Stephanie Walker, and
Frederick Lucero. She will be dearly missed by her four living children, brother Lino Callegari, and her
many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Jenny loved to go to the casino, the movies, and listen to music. When a casino trip was planned, she
would stay up all night in anticipation. On any given day she could be found with her headphones on
listening to Elvis or Hank Williams. She craved honey baked ham, cream soda and was known to always
have candy in her pockets. She also had a fond affection for the family cat, Oreo. She was an avid story-
teller and spoke fondly about life growing up in old-town. Gone, but never far from our hearts - she will
be missed by all who knew her.
