Edward J. Pratt

Edward J. Pratt passed away peacefully on 2/19/2021 in Sacramento, CA, age 84.  Ed is survived by his beloved wife Nancy; 3 children Cindy (Tony), Jerry (Ellen) & Sue; and 4 grandchildren TJ & Steph Dorado and Joe & Jonny Pratt.

Ed was born on June 9, 1936, in Detroit, MI to parents Jerry and Ellen Pratt.  Ed met Nancy Lee at Michigan State University in 1955.  They married in 1958 and had a long, wonderful life together for 62 years.  Ed joined the US Air Force in 1959 and served 22 years, including one year in Vietnam.  He achieved the rank of Lt. Colonel.  Because of numerous assignments, the family was able to travel all over the country (including England) and made friends everywhere they went. 

The burial will take place at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon, CA on April 5 at 1:30pm.  Due to the pandemic, this will be for immediate family only.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association or Disabled Veterans.
