Dennis William Mcfadden

Dennis William McFadden PHD. dearly beloved husband of Dympna passed on Saturday January 7th at UC Davis medical center after a short illness. Dennis had lived in Sacramento since 1964, graduated from Sacramento State and taught in Rancho Cordova High school before completing his PHD in English Literature at Indiana University Pennsylvania. He finished his career at American River College, as an associate professor a few years ago. Dennis was an avid reader, traveled the world with his wife Dympna. He enjoyed cycling the American River bike trail and walking daily in McKinley Park. Dennis is sadly missed by Dympna and his brothers Daniel, Neil, Michael.  Sister Eileen and son Kevin, as well as nieces, nephews and many friends. He is predeceased by brother David and sister Margaret. As he requested there will be no service. but a Celebration of Life will be announced at a future date. W. F.
