Susan Jane Mondine

Susan was born Feb. 17, 1947 and passed away Oct. 14, 2011. She was 64 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents Betty and William Williams. She is survived by brother Randy of Virginia and sister Sally of Florida. For 25 years, she had been the loved, adored, and loving wife of Rene Mondine. Susan spent 16 years as a Surgical Technician at several area hospitals and had also been a buyer for Sutter Hospital. Shortly after Susan and Rene were married, she began having serious health problems which she combated the rest of her life. Over time, her multiple health issues became progressively worse and she endured many surgeries and life-long severe pain, she spent hundreds of days in the hospital. Susan displayed courage and bravery beyond normal endurance. Her beautiful red hair will always be remembered, and she will be loved and missed.
