Donald J. Barbeau

Peacefully passed in Sacramento, on August 30, 2011. He was a native Sacramentan, known for painting and wallpapering many restaurants in Old Sacramento. As a young boy at the age of 11, he was the youngest professional magician in the city and was a longtime member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. He also obtained a Master's Degree in Theology. He is lovingly survived by his daughters Michelle and Yvonne Barbeau, grandchildren Brandi and Gisele, and great-grandchildren Reynaldo and Trezele. Beloved brother of Bob, Clayton and Ernie Barbeau, he now rejoins his other siblings who preceded him in death, Joe, Jack, Bill, Louis Jr., Dick and Pat Barbeau. He served in the US Navy and will be laid to rest at the Sac. Valley Nat'l Cemetery in Dixon on Thursday, 9/8 at 11:00am. A Memorial Mass will be held the same day at 1:00pm, at St. Rose Church in Sacramento at 5961 Franklin Bl. We will miss this kind and loving father, brother and friend. W.F.
