Dorothy Paula Silva

Born to Augusto and Josephine (Cioli) Duccini on October 21, 1919 in Sacramento, CA. Passed away on November 3, 2011 surrounded by family and her dear friend and caregiver Connie Ortiz. Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Delano Silva. Preceded in death by her son Don; sister Iva Mulhern; and brothers, Orland and Eugene Duccini. Loving mother to Dale, Dennis (Mary), Douglas (Barbara) and David (Debbie). Devoted grandmother 'Nonnie' to Amy and Thomas Silva. Dorothy was a lifelong Sacramento resident and an extraordinary homemaker. She was passionate about cooking, baking, crocheting, knitting and enjoyed socializing with family and friends. She dedicated much of her time to Immaculate Conception Church and Altar Society. Dorothy, 'Auntie Dot', was a very special person to all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a charity of your choice . Mass of Christian Burial will be held November 7, 2011 at 11am at Immaculate Conception Church, 3263 1st Avenue, Sacramento.
