Betty Marie Hogue

Betty died peacefully in her sleep, in Sacramento on August 25, 2011. She was the wife Dean M. Hogue who passed away in 1989 and was also the former wife of Warren Denham who passed away in 1992. She also rejoins her parents, the late Bertha and Jimmie Hicks. She will be deeply missed by her children, Beverly Howell (Robert) and Barbara Bonebrake; her sister Nancy Parsons (Bill) of Myrtle Beach; her grandchildren, Greg (Tiffany) Kabel, Rob Howell, Eric & Scott Bonebrake; and great-grandchildren, Caitlin and Gavin Kabel. She was a native and lifelong resident of Sacramento, aged 78. She loved reading and playing cards. She greatly enjoyed mother & daughter trips to Pacific Grove and family trips to Capitola as well as her new home and staff at the Chateau on Capitol. Friends are welcome for visitation at W.F. Gormley & Sons Chapel, 2015 Capitol Avenue on Wednesday from 3pm-7pm and are invited to attend a Celebration of her life at the chapel on Thursday at 12 noon, with a reception to follow. Interment will be privately held at the Historic Sacramento City Cemetery on Broadway.
