Born June 20, 1918 in Oakland, CA, a fifth generation Californian. She graduated from Piedmont High School in 1935 and from the University of California, Berkeley in 1939 where she was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority. She belonged to the Junior League of Sacramento and La Casa de los Ninos. She taught elemen- tary school for 15 years. She enjoyed playing piano and bridge, gardening, reading, photography, the theatre and traveling anywhere. Most of all she enjoyed her family, her late, beloved husband of 62 years, Eugene (Johnny) Lehe. She was preceded in death by her attentive and loving grandson, Matthew Lehe, who passed just 24 days prior. She is survived by her beloved children, Susan (Frank) Severs, Thomas, Jane (Greg) Eggert and Robert (Dee Dee) Lehe. She also leaves her grandchildren, Sean Lehe, Joe Severs, Laura and Chris Love, Amanda and Max Eggert, and Michael and Consuelo Lehe. She will be remembered fondly for her loving heart, enthusiasm for learning and joy of life. She will be missed. A celebration of her life will take place on August 30 at 11am at Trinity Cathedral, 2620 Capitol Ave. A reception will immediately follow in the Church Hall.
