Anna Mary Hall

Born in Sacramento on September 3, 1924 to the late John Hall and Mary Dillon, Anna Mary died on July 24, 2011 after a brief illness. She attended St. Francis Elementary School, St. Joseph Academy and Sacramento City College. She worked for Standard Oil and California State University, Sacramento. After she retired, she worked at Mercy McMahon Terrace and volunteered at Mercy General Hospital. Preceded in death by her brother John, Jr., she is survived by her sister, Sr. Mary St. John, a Sister of Mercy; her cousin, Mary Ellen Masters and her family; as well as relatives in Ireland. Anna Mary will be remembered as a loving sister and a gracious, generous friend to all. She was a woman known for her smile, humor and love for family, sports and music. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 10:30 am, St. Joseph Chapel at St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave., Sacramento CA. W.F. Gormley & Sons Funeral Directors.
