Eugene Rolland Steiger

In Sacramento, February 11, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Catherine Steiger, loving father of Barry, Kathleen, and Monica, cherished grandfather of Jeannette, Phillip, Jurhee, Kristin, Tim, Matthew, Michel and Kevin, great grandfather of eight with one on the way. A native of South Dakota, he was a 73 year resident of Sacramento, aged 95 years. Eugene was a carpenter for 40 years. Friends were invited to attend a Rosary at W.F. GORMLEY & SONS CHAPEL, 2015 Capitol Ave, Tuesday at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered for the repose of his soul at Sacred Heart Church, 1040 39th Street, Wednesday at 10 am. Interment followed at St. Mary's Cemetery.
