Mary Kathryn O'Connor

In Sacramento, March 26, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Delbert J. O'Connor, loving mother of John (Maureen), Gerald, Brian (Wendy) and Matthew O'Connor and the late Ann O'Connor, preceded in death by her parents Gerald M. Desmond and Kathryn M. Desmond. Sister of Ann Christie and the late Gerald Desmond. Cherished grandmother of Sean, Megan, Allison, Colin (Marissa), Kyle, Kevin, Patrick and Emily O'Connor. Great grandmother of Kylee. A native and lifetime resident of Sacramento, aged 82 years. Mary was a graduate of Dominican High School and Stanford University and a member of Sacred Heart Parish and the Junior League. Friends are welcome for visitation at W.F. Gormley & Sons Chapel, 2015 Capitol Avenue, Thursday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and are invited to attend a Vigil Service at Sacred Heart Church, 1040 39th Street, Thursday at 7:00 PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be offered for the repose of her soul at Sacred Heart Church, Friday at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private. Remembrances may be made in her memory to Sacred Heart School, Christian Brothers High School, or Jesuit High School.
