Native of Sacramento, California for 84 years, passed away on April 17, 2012. Dad was a Veteran of the Korean War, who had worked for the City of Sacramento, for both the Memorial Auditorium and Sacramento Convention Center, retiring after 31 years of service. Dad was also an avid gardener who used to love the ocean, fishing and baseball. He also coached Little League baseball for a number of years. He is survived by his wife Jean Mendoza, daughter Sandra, sons, Daniel and Herb, Jr., grandchildren, Bree Ann, Matthew and Berlyn, brothers, Henry and Andrew, sister, Ruth, with many loving family members and extended family in the Philippines. A Rosary will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 7pm, at W.F. Gormley & Sons, 2015 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95811. Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 10am, at Holy Spirit Church, 3159 Land Park Drive, Sacramento, CA 95818
