David Matthew Weldon

Daniel Matthew Weldon passed away on August 19, 2012 in Sacramento, CA after a short illness. He was born on August 30, 1946 to Dale and Marilyn Weldon, he was the oldest of three children. He graduated from Porterville High in 1965 where he was active in athletics, 4-H, FFA, and Student Council. He then attended college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he received his degree in Agricultural Business Management. He spent the majority of his career as a director for the Forest Land Owners of California he was also an agricultural journalist for multiple organizations as well as a lobbyist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Marilyn Weldon, and his brother Barry Weldon. He is survived by his sister, Emmy Lu Noble (Dale) and his niece Samantha Mulvihill (Tim) of Porterville. A memorial service to be held at a later date.
