Maureen Alessio

Alessio, Maureen, of Sacramento California, was called home to our Lord, on November 4, 2012. Though she was a proud native of Ireland, she spent many years living here in Sacramento. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Hanratty. She was predeceased by her husband George, former Assistant Marshall Sacramento County, and her brother Tom Hanratty. Maureen is survived by her sons Mark and his wife Jennifer, and their two children Jordan, A.J of San Ramon, CA, and her son Gregg of Sacramento, and her brother Huey and his wife Mary of Ireland, and her sister Eileen of Ireland. he was a devoted mother and grandmother, and had numerous friends; Maureen was an avid gardener and housewife. She was devoted to her church. She was a secretary for many years at St. Anthony & St. Paul Churches, in Sacramento Friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial that was offered for the repose of soul at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 660 Florin Rd, Sacramento, at 11:00am, Friday the 9th of November, 2012. Maureen will be greatly missed by her family and many many friends. Private burial services will be held later. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to Christian Brothers High School, 4315 Martin Luther King Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95820.
