Margaret Mary Herbert

In Sacramento, on November 25, 2012. Born in Co. Cork, Ireland, aged 75 years. Margaret was a long time resident of Sacramento. She now rejoins her beloved parents Anne & Michael Herbert, her brother Michael, and her sister Teresa and brother in law Patrick Dennehy and sister-in-law Olive Herbert. She is survived by her brother Patrick and sister-in-law Chris, as well as numerous nieces & nephews. She taught at many elementary schools in the Diocese of Sacramento including Auburn, Redding, Folsom, Roseville and at Sacred Heart School for the last 23 years. She will be missed by her family in Ireland and the U.S., the Sisters of Mercy and Associates. A special thanks to Oltean's Care Home, especially Kristina Kortava and Nina Urucu for their excellent and loving care of Peggy over the past two years. Thank you also to Bristol Hospice. Friends are welcome to attend a Rosary which will be held on Wednesday (11/28) at 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, at Sacred Heart Church 1040 39th Street, Sacramento. A reception will follow. She will be interred in Ireland. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Sacred Heart Church or the Sisters of Mercy, 535 Sacramento St., Auburn, CA 95603.
