Mauraid Cahill

Mauraid Brigid (Semple) Cahill gently passed away in Rocklin, CA on June 27, 2013. Beloved wife of Edward (Ben) Clayton Cahill, loving mother of Clayton Andrew and Jason Padraic Cahill, adored mother-in-law of Sharon Penny and Renee Cahill, daughter of the late Charles Joseph and Aileen B. Semple, sister of Charles 'Pat' Semple, sister-in-law of Patricia Semple, Willy Cahill, and Andrea Cahill, cherished grandmother of Jade Cahill, aunt of Siobahn Stoddard, Brian Semple, Sheila Mone, Kevin Semple, Curtis Cahill and Carin Lockwood. She was a native of San Francisco, and a resident of Sacramento for 34 years, aged 76. She was a beloved teacher and administrator at both St. John Vianney and Sacred Heart Parish School. She loved her family, friends and students tremendously. Friends gathered to remember and honor her for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial that was offered for the repose of her soul at Sacred Heart Church, 1040 39th Street, on Saturday, July 13, at 10:00 am. She will be deeply missed.
