Stella Waclawinek

In Sacramento, June 28, 2013. Daughter of the late Karol and Lucie Waclawinek. Long time loving friend of the late Alice Cahill and Suerose Peters DaRosa, also lovingly survived by Donald and Richard DaRosa, Maribeth DaRosa Niehaus, and all their families. She was a native of Stockton, California, and a resident of Sacramento since 1938, aged 96 years. Stella retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad Company in 1979 after 37 years of employment. She was a life member of "City of Hope" as well as a former member of the "Catholic Ladies Relief Society #1" and Democratic Women's Club of Sacramento. A Celebration of Her Life Service took place at W.F. Gormley & Sons Chapel, 2015 Capitol Avenue, on Monday, July 8 at 11:00am. Entombment was at Park View Cemetery in Manteca, California. Remembrances may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice. A special "Thank You" to the staff at Asian Community Nursing Home for their loving care to Stella over the past ten years.
