Best known as "The Lady from Aruba", died unexpectedly in her home surrounded by all of her favorite things. She is survived by her daughter, Jeannette Rios-Michel; son-in-law, Luis Michel, and her love of her life, apple of her eye, one and only grandson, Jovan Michel. She leaves behind countless family members in Aruba, sisters, Sara Kelly, Luisa Kelly. Preceded in death by Maria Kelly Semeller; brothers, Ignacio Kelly, Balbino Kelly, & Dominico Kelly. Preceded in death, Johan Kelly. In San Diego she leaves behind her beloved nephew, Jerry Giraud; wife Debrah; niece Maria; sister-in-law, Mercedes Giraud. Many other family members in Canada and Holland. A condolence service was held in Aruba on July 5th, followed by a Memorial Mass at the Church of her childhood. She will be remembered for her numerous talents, cooking, baking, gardening, sewing (many costumes) McClusky's upholstery class projects. She loved her yearly trips to Aruba and the casinos. The family wishes to express many thanks to: especially her niece, Grace Kelly, who arranged the Aruba services. The staff at Raley's (Freeport Blvd.); Dr. Chen and the "girls in the office", Dr. Lau, Dr. Keepler, and all of her friends who have been with her through thick and thin, and now have graciously assumed the role of Mother and Grandmother to our family. A funeral prayer service will be held on Tues. August 13th at 7pm at St. Robert Church, 2243 Irvin Way, Sacramento.
