Chuck passed away peacefully at home on Sept 19th after a 2½ year battle with bone marrow cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife Dee, treasured children Kevin & Cheryl and Kevin's wife Kris, cherished Grandchildren K.C., Megan & Marshell. He also leaves behind his loved mother and sister, Madeline & Kris. Chuck was very proud to have been born in Montana 72 years ago. The family moved to Sunnyvale where he attended Fremont High and remained an active alumni. With great pride he served his Country as an Air Traffic Controller in the Navy on Midway Island. Afterwards he graduated college with a degree in accounting and moved to the Sacramento area first as a Corporate Controller and then with his own financial services business. His hobbies included golf, treasure hunting, travel, acting & film productions. In 1986 Chuck joined the Sons of the American Revolution and was a six time past president, co-founder of their Color Guard and Coordinator for the School History Presentations to 5th grade students. Chuck was a true patriot. He was also a 43 year member of the Elks & numerous other organizations. Chuck will best be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his love of God, Family and Country, his ability to make friends & the joy he brought to everyone he touched in all the numerous and little acts of love he did for others. A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Chuck on Sunday, October 6th, 2013 at 3:30 PM at the Serbian Orthodox Church, 7777 Sunset Ave, Fair Oaks.
