James Edward Knight

Born to life on March 20, 1936, Jim was born to eternal life on September 28, 2013. Jim has gone to join his wife Sandy, his parents John and Edith Knight, brothers Russell, Jack, Harry and Richard, and his sister Sharon. He is lovingly survived by his sister Mary Jane, his daughters Kathy (John), Lynda, step-daughter Dawn (Ed), grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He leaves behind many friends from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fremont Presbyterian Church, and his special friends Brandon, Erin and Jimmy. He was a native of Sacramento and was active for many years with Post 61 baseball. He loved camping and fishing with his friend Dave. He retired from the State of California. We thank you for joining his family for the Rosary Service which was held on Thursday, October 3 at 7:00 pm at W.F. Gormley & Sons Chapel, 2015 Capitol Avenue in Sacramento. Friends also attended his Memorial Mass service on Friday, October 4 at Immaculate Conception Church, 3263 First Avenue, at 10:30 am. He will be dearly missed.
