Robert N. Zarick

After a brief illness Robert was called home in Sacramento on October 28, 2013. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 601/2 years, Joan and his children Laurie Zarick and David Zarick. He was a proud grandfather to Julie Tyrrell and Miles Zarick. He is survived by brothers-in-law Michael Heon & family, Larry Heon & family and many nieces and nephews. He was a Superior Court Judge in Sacramento for many years and a founding member of The Lincoln School of Law in Sacramento. He was a native and lifetime resident of Sacramento aged 89 years. He was a former President of East Sacramento Kiwanis, a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, past Big SIR #117 and a member of the American Slavic Social Club. He enjoyed fishing in Alaska and was a 49ers fan. He was a member of St. Mary's Parish, 1333 58th Street, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on November 8, 2013, at 1:00pm. Private interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery. Remembrances in his name may be made to the Robert N. Zarick Scholarship Fund at Lincoln Law School.
