Daryl Ann Ryan

Daryl Ann Ryan passed away peacefully on February 27, 2014 in the home she loved, among family and dear friends. Daryl approached her life with a relentless optimism and sense of adventure, always finding new ways to engage the world. A lover of travel, literature, art, the outdoors, and fine food, she most of all enjoyed her friends and family. Daryl never lost track of people; many friends made over the decades remained her close friends for life. Daryl leaves behind her loving husband, John, her daughter, Ramona Steward (Ossie), her sisters Janice Munizza (Greg), and Diane Goodnight (David), her brother David Munizza, her stepmother Alo Munizza, and her stepchildren, Jeffrey Ryan and Meghan Ryan. She is also survived by her nephews, Tavis Goodnight, Devin Goodnight, John Ryan, Aidan Ryan, Robin Ryan, Erin Bissell, and by her stepbrothers and sister: David, Mark and Elizabeth Marvel. We are forever grateful to those who were there to help Daryl in her last days: her siblings: Janice, Diane, and David, her stepmother, Alo, her two brother-in-laws Greg Miller and David Goodnight, her nephew, Tavis and her friends Sue O'Donnell, Lyn Crouch, and Lisa Woodward. Special thanks to her son-in-law, Ossie. Thank you, dear friends, for walking Daryl home. We will be holding a Memorial Service to celebrate Daryl on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at her home in Sacramento.
