Rene F. Herre

Rene passed away peacefully at the age of 91 in Sacramento on February 21, 2014. Rene was born in Ohio, but has lived in Sacramento the majority of her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William F. Herre. The two of them enjoyed going to his VFW meetings together and loved to dance. She retired from Mather Air Force Base in their management division of the credit union. She will be deeply missed by her four step-daughters, Carol Brister, Janet Batot, Margo Dixon, and Ruth Parker, along with their families. Rene spent her final years at the J.R. Jones Care Home and truly enjoyed her time there. 'Mom Rene' you will be missed but never forgotten. A Private graveside service was held at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park.
