Creighton F. Norris

Creighton was called home peacefully in Sacramento on April 26, 2014. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 58 years, Patricia as well as their sons Creighton F. Jr., Stephen and Warren Norris. He is also lovingly survived by his sister, Marcia Norris, of San Francisco. He was born to Edgar and Cecile Norris in New York City on March 30, 1931. He was a graduate of USF and enjoyed a long career in laboratory research equipment sales. He served in the U.S. Navy where he fostered his life-long love of sailing. A devout Catholic, he was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish. He loved to walk and would meditate on the Rosary while doing so. He and his wife enjoyed traveling and were proud to have completed the pilgrimage trek over the Pyrenees on the Road to Compostela into Santiago, Spain. Friends are welcome to attend a Vigil service on Thursday (5/1) at 7:00pm, at W.F. Gormley & Sons, 2015 Capitol Avenue. Private interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery. A Memorial Mass of Resurrection will be held for the repose of his soul on Monday, May 5, at 10:00am, Sacred Heart Church, 1040 39th Street.
