Marilyn C. Harding (Morebeck)

Marilyn died at her home on June 16, 2014. Marilyn, a lifelong resident of Sacramento, was born on August 8, 1936, the daughter of the late Elsie and William F. Morebeck. She graduated from St. Francis High School and Sacramento Junior College and worked for the Sheriff's Department as a dispatcher for over 25 years. After retiring Marilyn traveled the world, shopped exotic marketplaces and returned with wonderful finds to gift her friends and family. Those who knew and loved her best will remember her as a feisty, independent, colorful character. Marilyn was preceded in death by her sister Karen Morebeck. She is survived by her brother William C. Morebeck and sister-in-law Joan Morebeck of Lincoln and her sister Betsy Flynn of Sacramento. Also survived by 3 nephews: Seth Morebeck (Barbara) of Lincoln; Mathew Morebeck (Heather) of Grass Valley; Richard Flynn (Rose) of Elk Grove; her grandnieces and nephews Madison, Cutter, Riley, Gracie, Taryn , Evan and several cousins all of whom adored her. Friends are invited to celebrate her life on June 24, 2014 at the Elks Lodge, 6446 Riverside Blvd, Sacramento, Ca 95831 from 2-4 PM.
