Gloria passed away with her adoring children by her side at home, July 11th, 2014. She was born and raised in Sacramento, CA, on November 27th, 1926. She now rejoins the love of her life and husband of over 54 years, John T. Sullivan; her parents, Gus & Kathryn Cavros; brother Ted Cavros; sister in law Sherry Cavros; niece Michelle; and nephew Steven. She is survived by her twin brother George Cavros and younger brother Mike Cavros and sister in law Joann Cavros. She leaves behind her loving children, Sally (Rick), Cathy (Jim), Scott (Renee), Lori (Brian) and son in law Roger. She was loved and cherished by her twelve grandchildren, Michael and Julie; Marissa, John, Joe and Jimmy; Ellie; Katie, Vinny, Megan, Steven and Jimmy; along with her three great grandchildren Lucas, Marlee and Audrey. Gloria graduated from Sacramento High School and attended Sacramento Junior College. She was a dedicated member of the Sacramento Junior League and was faithfully employed for over thirty years as an executive assistant to her husband, John, at Red Devil/TNT Fireworks. Her greatest joy in life, was being a wonderful wife, mother and Grammy. She was a compassionate and caring friend to all who knew her. Her beautiful green eyes, sweet smile, and her kind and loving ways, will live in our hearts forever. A special thank you to her gentle caregivers, Emma, Gwen, Jeri, Tina and Rosa, who became our angels here on earth. Visitation was held at W.F. Gormley & Sons 2015 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento on Wednesday 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Services were held at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 2620 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 10:30 am. Remembrances may be made in her memory to St. John's Women's Shelter or the SPCA.
