Denise "Deni" Joanne Polstra

Deni Polstra, our beautiful and amazing mother was born April 14, 1951 to Barbara and Ryan Polstra in San Francisco, California. She lived her life with amazing love and generosity. Charming and delighting nearly everyone she met, she brought so much joy to this world. Deni had 3 children, Tana, Rocko and Patrick. She also had 9 grandchildren; Natalie, Noelle, Ella, Liam, Rowan, Aurora, Cora, Nick and Zach. Her love and energy was boundless with her grandchildren. She played like a child with them and enchanted their lives. Deni's faith was inspiring. She shared this faith actively with all of us and we are blessed by her enduring spirit. She battled a devastating disease for 6 months, enduring pain and suffering like a warrior. We were awed by her strength. She went to heaven on July, 12. We love you mom. A Mass of Resurrection was held at Presentation Parish, in Sacramento on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Interment, Calvary Cemetery.
