Brett passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the age of 37. He is survived by his wife Jessica, two young children and many family and friends. He grew up in the Sacramento area and attended Christian Brothers High School. Brett comes from a very large family who has strong ties to the Land Park community. Brett and his wife Jessica, met while he was attending the University of Oregon and they continued to live in Oregon while he attended Portland State University. Before starting their family, they moved back to Sacramento to be closer to family. Brett started at Lyon Real Estate in March 2006, as a Relocation Assistant and in his eight years with Lyon, held many positions and ultimately found his stride in the Training Department as the company's Technical Training Developer where his skills and knowledge could be most utilized. Brett has assisted many agents and employees with a variety of topics including Marketing, Social Media, and all things technological. His vast knowledge, expertise and attention to detail will be sorely missed. Brett was a life-long, leading-edge technology enthusiast, always learning, always sharing always teaching. Father to Atticus & Micah, husband to Jessica, Brett was an amazing father, a wonderful husband, son, brother and friend to many. He possessed an immense knowledge and intelligence that we can all strive to achieve. His sense of humor was sarcastic, witty and he always spoke his mind. Under all the jokes, technology knowledge and love for social media was a big heart and a devoted family man.
