Anna Silva

Born September 29th 1925, Anna died peacefully on September 30, 2014 a day after her 89th birthday. She was a kind and generous person devoted to her family and friends. She was a vivacious woman who greeted everyone with a smile. A person of faith, her spirit now rests in heaven. She joins many friends and relatives who have gone before her including her parents, brothers and sister, and sons Richard and Michael. She leaves behind her devoted husband William (Bill) Silva, daughter Catherine Silva(Steve), granddaughters Lauren De Valencia y Sanchez (Greco), and Nikki Silva and two great grand children Orion Asuncion and Simone Anne De Valencia y Sanchez. She also leaves behind her sister Louise Billingsley (Harold) and brother Donald Guidera (Marilyn). She worked for the State of California her entire career and was a long time parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish. Her family would like to thank the entire staff at Mercy McMahon Terrace and Mercy Hospice for their wonderful care. She was a long time volunteer and supported many charities. Some of her favorites were Mercy HIV Aids Ministry, Sacred Heart School and Loaves and Fishes. Services will be held at a later date.
