James "Jim" D. Lanzi

Jim passed away unexpectedly in Sacramento on October 10, 2014, at the age of 56. He is survived by his beloved wife Sheryl of 38 years, loving sons Vincent and Stephen and four 4-legged grandsons. He is also survived by Anna (sister), Aunt Bonnie and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Lanzi. Jim attended Christian Brothers High School and Sacramento State University. His career at Corti Bros. began in high school as a bagger and he enentually left as the Store Manager to join Haman Landscape and Tree. Jim was a life-long Sacramento resident, proud father, wine connoisseur, coach and he knew his way around a charcoal grill. He will be sorely missed by numerous family and friends. No formal service will be held; instead Jim requested a family celebration. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
