Michael Joseph Gill Jr.

On Saturday, October 18, at the age of 83 years, Michael went home to be with our Father. He is the beloved husband of Mona Gill, father of Michael, Chris, Terri and Laura Gill and Kelly Giberson, father-in-law to Patty and Jenifer Gill and Daren Giberson and loving grandfather to Alexander, Patrick, Sean, Matthew, Brendan, Keira and Kylie. A native of Chicago, Illinois and a resident of Sacramento for 75 years. He is well remembered as a wonderful counselor for 35 years at McClatchy High School in Sacramento. Family, friends and former students were invited to attend a Rosary on Thursday, October 23, at 7 pm as well as the Memorial Service on Friday, October 24 at 10:00 am. Both services were held at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 7584 Center Parkway, Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity. He will be dearly missed.
