Anna Rose Masi Defazio

Anna Rose Masi DeFazio, age 84, died November 18, 2014. The youngest of George and Annie Masi's three daughters, Anna Rose was born in Sacramento on June 21, 1930. She grew up on 2nd Ave and had wonderful memories of those perfect' days. She lived her whole life in Sacramento, her much-loved City of Trees, along with sisters Marie and Gay. Anna Rose graduated from McClatchy High in 1948 and in addition to raising her ten children, worked for Sacramento Public Libraries for 30 years. Anna Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Bill, her daughter, Christine and son, George. She is survived by children: Louie (Cathy), MaryAnn (Erik), (Lori), Ted (Lauri), Theresa (Richard), Matt (Leslee), Phil, Bill (Naomi), Elizabeth (Tara), 33 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, cousins and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Gormley and Sons, 2015 Capitol Ave, Sacramento at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 3. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Assn (alz.org)
