Albert "Dana" D. Phillips Iii

Phillips III, Albert Dana (Dana) was born September 18, 1935 a native of Sacramento Ca, and a resident of Rancho Cordova Ca for 44 years. He is survived by his sons, Albert Dana Phillips IV (Al) and Rian Phillips, and 4 grandchildren, Jacob, Kayci, Ellisa ad Emillie. His sister Mary and her daughter Ellen Angelo and his deceased sister Libby Phillips, Hanson and lher children Donald and Leland Hanson. His parents were Dr. Albert Phillips II and Ruth Mary Casey-Phillips, Dana's father served in WWII Lt. Col. as a surgeon, and lost his life in the war. Dana was a member of NRA, ACBS-No Cal Tahoe, Shooting Sports, Boat designer, builder and restorer of classic boats. His business "Classic Marine" started as a hobby in the late 1970's and became one of the finest builders of custom made boats in the county. He retired his business April 2014. He will be missed. Viewing will be Monday December 1, 2014 from 2p.m-8p.m. at W.F Gormley & Sons, 2015 Capital Ave, Sacramento CA. Service will be held at W.F. Gormley & Sons, on Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. and internment at St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave. Sacramento CA.
