Joan D. Ghilardi

Joan passed away peacefully on December 8, 2014 in Sacramento at the age of 68. She was the beloved wife of the late Larry Ghilardi. Joan is survived by her 2 sons, Jim and Tom Ghilardi, and daughter in law Traci. Loving sister of John and Jeanette Pieruccini. Devoted grandmother to Lauren, Jimmy, Gianna, Juliana, and Isaak and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Joan was born in Sacramento to William and Alma Pierucini. She devoted her life to working as a supervisor in the office of EDD at the State of California, but more importantly to her family and friends. Joan was a loving mother, wife, and daughter and generous to all of her family and friends. A high spirited and positive person who enjoyed making other happy. She will be missed by all who loved her. Her main hobby was watching football and could be found at almost every game her family took part in. At her request, private services will take place. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Sacramento SPCA.
