Dorothy (Mosher) Brill, 95, died peacefully on February 3, 2015, in Sacramento, California. She was born on February 19, 1919, in Watertown, Wisconsin, and was the eldest child of Emma (Schless) and Lloyd Mosher. The family relocated to Beloit, Wisconsin, when Dorothy was very young. She proudly graduated from Beloit Memorial High School as Class Salutatorian in 1937. Furthering her education was important to Dorothy. She attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. On February 17, 1945, she married Eugene Brill in Madison at St. Paul's University Chapel. The couple then made their home in Madison before settling in Sacramento. At one time, she and Eugene owned and operated an art framing shop there. Her hobbies included sewing, painting, and taking additional college classes. Dorothy was predeceased by Eugene, her parents, and siblings Donald Mosher, Patricia (Mosher) Egdorf, and Robert Mosher. Her survivors include sister-in-law Patricia (Purcell) Mosher, brother-in-law Richard Brill, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Howard and Martha (Brill) Bjorklund, and many nieces and nephews.
