Michael Howard Greenberg

GREENBERG, Michael Howard On February 9, 2015, our Michael passed away in the arms of his long-time partner Richard Hernandez. Michael was born in Virginia, Minnesota on November 10, 1957, to Ruth and Mack Greenberg, both deceased. Michael is survived by sisters Rachel (Husband Ron) Straut, Sue (Husband Roger) Lloyd and Lori Greenberg and numerous nieces and nephews. Michael will also be sorely missed by all of Richard's brothers and sisters, their children and grandchildren who loved Michael. Michael worked for Hyatt Hotels Corporation for over 30 years as a Food and Beverage Server. Michael was a member of the Opening Team of the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. He was a professional F&B Server who was recognized and appreciated by his guests for his high level of service and friendliness. Michael was charming, witty, funny, creative, and known for his numerous "Michaelisms." Michael was special! Michael and Richard were honored to have had a 30 year relationship together. Their home was always open to others and they enjoyed entertaining. Their parties were renowned. Michael enjoyed gardening, cooking, and was an avid reader. His two little dogs, Lola and Frankie are sad and lost without Michael. Michael touched so many people in so many ways. He was truly loved by many and will be missed however not forgotten.
