Connor McNear Burns Connor McNear Burns, 13, died unexpectedly on March 10, 2015. Connor is the beloved son of Stephen Burns and Sarah Nicoud Burns, brother Nico and sisters, Elizabeth and Grace. Connor was a wonderful son and brother, who filled the Burns' home with joy and laughter. He was a great friend to many, and will be remembered for his creativity and curiosity, his kindness, and his sly sense of humor. Connor loved classic rock and roll, all things electronic, and was always full of surprises. Connor was in the 7th Grade at Sacramento County Day School where he will be deeply missed by his friends and the entire school community. Connor will be forever loved and remembered by his parents, brother and sisters, his maternal grandmother Amanda Jane Reynolds and paternal grandfather, Paul Burns, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and Luna (the Labrador). A celebration of Connor's life will be held on Monday, March 16 at 3:00 pm at Trinity Cathedral, 2620 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, California, followed by a reception for family and friends at The Sutter Club of Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider a gift to the memorial fund established in his honor at the Sacramento Country Day School, Attention: Steve Repsher, 2636 Latham Drive, Sacramento, California, 95864. A private family burial will follow on Tuesday in Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael, CA.
