Robert S. Park (???), 74, of Sacramento died March 24, 2015. He was born in a small rural village outside of Namwon (????, ???), South Korea. He was the second son of Park, Choonsang (???) and Moon, Jomyang (???). He graduated from Sungkyunkwan University. He married Kim, Aouk Fa (???) in 1964, and fathered two children, son Sungmin (???) and daughter Sunghi (???). Mr. Park was a self-made real estate developer having built apartments, track homes, hotels, and retail buildings throughout the western United States. Since opening his first construction and development company in 1980, he has completed over 50 projects. His concern for his own community and his dedication to helping people is evidenced by his leadership roles in various community based organizations throughout his long life. He has served as the President of Sierra Lion's Club three separate times, the President of the Korean-American Community Association of Sacramento (???), Member of the President's Advisory Board for the South Korean Government, the President of the Sacramento Korean Choral Society (?????), and the President of the Federation of Korean American Association of Southwest States (?????????????) just to name a few. Mr. Park has been a dedicated member of Capital Korean Presbyterian Church (????????) since 1975. He leaves his beloved wife Aouk (???), his son Sungmin (???) and his wife Sunghee (???) as well as their sons Tehwan (???) and Donghwan (???); and his daughter Sunghi (???) and her daughter Alexandra (???). He is also survived by his brother Younggul (???), his sister-in-law Stephanie(???) and her two sons Sunghoon (???) and Sunghyun (???). He also leaves behind his sister Sookmi (???)in South Korea and her family. He was predeceased by an older brother Junggul (???) and younger sister Sookja (???). A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 6:00pm on March 28, 2015, at Capital Korean Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Kim, Soong (??) presiding.
