Paula Mary Taylor

Taylor, Paula Mary Paula Taylor of Sacramento passed away peacefully on March 26, 2015 at the age of 65. She was born in Palo Alto on November 15, 1949 to Stanley and Marian Phillips. Paula married Gary W. Taylor on October 23, 1976 in Carmel, CA and together they relocated to Sacramento in 1977 to continue their employment at Wells Fargo Bank. In 1979 Paula became a mother and spent the next few decades as a successful home-maker as well as assisting with the family business in commercial real estate. She enjoyed playing tennis and cards, being a member of the Arden Park parent co-op, vacationing in Monterey and Tahoe, and taking cruises. However, Paula's greatest joy came from raising her daughter and spending quality time with her family and friends. In 2010 Paula became "Mimi" and took great pride in being a fun and loving grandmother and especially enjoyed taking her grandsons to Cresta Park. Those who knew her recall her infectious personality, her laughter and jokes, and her kind heart and loving spirit. Paula is survived by her husband Gary Taylor, her daughter Julie DeVore, her grandsons Landon and Bennett DeVore, her sister Jan Meagher, and her brother John Phillips. A celebration of her life will be held privately for her family and friends.
