Anna Louise Rush, peacefully passed away on April 3, 2015. She was born in Michigan on January 15, 1924. Preceeded in death by her parents, Forrest and Anna Roberta Bulleit, along with her two brothers, Don and Bob. In the early 1930's, the Bulliet family moved to Long Beach, CA. Anna graduated from Excelsior High School in 1942 and married Jack Rush in April 1946. She spent numerous years as a loving mother and homemaker living in Pomona and Monterey Park, CA. After her children were raised, she returned to work in various clerical/ administrative positions with several small manufacturing companies. In 1996, after retirement, she moved to Sacramento and has resided there until her passing. Anna treasured life! She supported and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and entertaining in her home. Her stylish flair was very much evident in her home décor and impeccable presence. Anna is survived by her son Albert Rush (Paula) and daughter Candus Maionchi (Gene). Grandchildren are Ryan Rush (Amanda), Derek Rush, and Nick Maionchi. Great grandchildren are Annabelle and Vera Lee Rush. Our mother taught us tolerance and to respect human dignity of all. We will forever remember her unmistakable laugh that brought a smile to everyone she met. We will miss you, Mom! You were the best!! Memorial services will be held at a future date, Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, CA. Donations in her honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
